How to Watercolor: How to use Rigger Brush

I enjoy the rigger brush so much. I own a few rigger brushes myself and I can say they have not let me down. It’s like a mix of a round and a script brush.

Using a Rigger Brush is by far my favorite watercolor brush to use. Here are my reasons why:

  • Holds lots of water

  • Comes to fine point

  • Able to mix colors easily

  • And it’s FUNNNNN!

Watch my video of me using the rigger brush. Here are some of the rigger brushes that I like and suggest for you to purchase.

  • Escoda Versatil #10 Brush

  • Silver Black Velvet Script Brush

  • Master’s Touch (Hobby Lobby brand)

  • Winsor & Newton
