Mini Polaroid Landscapes Watercolor Workshop
Mini Landscape Polaroid Workshop: Exploring Watercolor, Soft Pastels & Watercolor Pencils
Workshop Overview:
Discover the magic of mixed media in this hands-on workshop with artist Teresa Cook! In this session, you’ll explore how soft pastels, watercolor pencils, and watercolor can be used together to create dynamic, layered paintings.
We will create a set of mini Polaroid-style watercolor landscapes while experimenting with different textures and techniques using watercolor, watercolor pencils, and soft pastels. This mixed-media approach helps add depth, atmosphere, and fine details to your artwork in a fun and approachable way.
This workshop is designed for both beginners and experienced artists looking to experiment with different textures, blending techniques, and artistic effects. You’ll learn:
✔️ How to use watercolor pencils for fine details and bold washes
✔️ Techniques for soft pastels, including blending, layering, and textural effects
✔️ How to mix all three mediums to enhance depth, contrast, and vibrancy
At the end of the session, you’ll take home your own mixed-media landscape and a deeper understanding of how these materials can work together!
