WATERCOLOR FLOW
4TH SATURDAYS // 1 P.M.
Join local watercolor artist Teresa Cook for a refreshing monthly workshop designed to inspire both beginner and intermediate artists. Whether you’re just discovering the magic of watercolor or looking to refine your skills, this 3-hour immersive session will guide you through core techniques, creative exercises, and a themed painting project each month.
Students will work on basic methods of painting with watercolor, including making a color wheel, layering colors, color mixing, wet-n-wet method, dry brush, and more. A drawing element will be incorporated using the method blind contour drawing, which will be paired with the painting to create an image of Jacksonville.
Watercolor Flow is a monthly series of hands-on, practical art classes where students of all levels learn to create in varying media with the instruction of a local artist. Open to adults and teens in the company of an adult.
